“From Hobby to Business: My Creative Journey”

What began as a simple hobby has blossomed into a thriving business. Countless hours spent tinkering in my garage, surrounded by an array of cool tools, unveiled hidden talents I never knew I possessed. Now, this once-passionate pastime has become an integral part of my daily life.

My background in marketing and graphic design, coupled with a sprinkle of music, guided me toward uncharted territories. Like a skilled helmsman, I steered my creative energies in a fresh direction.

Growing up in a quaint Northern New Jersey town, just beyond the bustling streets of New York City, I learned life’s lessons through trial and error. Raised by a single mother and an uncle who could barely differentiate between pliers and a wrench, I became adept at figuring things out on my own.

As a woodworker—a craft that resonates with those who dabble in its art—I’ve amassed a scrap pile of missteps. But I view that heap as my personal “Woodworking School,” where each flawed piece contributes to my growth.

Allow me to introduce myself: Marc D. Veltri, or simply MDV. I’m a single father to two remarkable young adults, residing in the sun-kissed expanse of Southern Nevada. My days oscillate between the satisfying hum of building new furniture pieces and the exhilarating roar of my Harley as I cruise around Lake Mead.

And that picture? It captures a moment frozen in time—a testament to the joy of fatherhood and the beauty of life’s evolving chapters.
